Getting ready to move
Please ensure you are prepared and ready to be moved.
Where possible, please have all items packed and dismantled as this will save additional time and cost. If you require items to be packed, dismantled, reassembled, please advise us at time of booking and we will be glad to help you. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all items being moved fit into and out of your properties. Additional arrangements and a return visit may be required should windows or doors need to be removed. Sometimes however, it may be completely impossible to either remove or install items due to their size and or the size of the entrance or opening of the property concerned.

Costs and Quotes
All Removals are for the agreed rate stated at time of booking. For "Man and Van" service, hourly rates apply at a minimum booking time of 2 hours. Should additional time be required to complete the job, 30 minute increments will be accrued at the rate quoted.
Aditional charges will be added should the amount of goods to be moves differ from the amout quoted on the phone or during apricing at your property. I.E: 25 boxes become 40 boxes or more furniture or white goods need moving.

Payments
All payment terms: Cash upon completion. Cheques only accepted 7 days prior to work carried out to allow for cleared funds. Bank transfers 7 days in advance. We do not accept credit cards payments as yet. A 50% deposit via Cheque, Postal Order or Cash is payable ONLY if booking 7 days or more in advance.

Parking, Tolls and Congestion Zones
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate / legal parking is provided at each end of their move. If permits, suspended parking bays etc are required the customer must make the necessary requirements to ensure fines are not incurred. Any fines incurred as a direct result of overlooking this matter will be added to the final bill. If entering into / through tolls or congestions zone areas, the appropriate charge will be added to the final bill unless discussed and agreed prior to the removal date. If parking is restricted outside your property, please understand that extra costs will be incurred due the extra work involved in carrying your items by hand over distances.

Insurance and Breakages
Any items of value must be pointed out prior to moving and protected accordingly. Additional insurance may be required. We will not be held liable for any damages to items not wrapped or packed by ourselves. We will not be held liable for any damages incurred that go unreported within 24 hours of the move.We will not be held accountable for any damage made to properties that are not pointed out on the day.

Our Right to Refuse
We have the right to refuse any load that we feel is unsuitable or not accurately specified at the original booking. We have the right to cancel, cease or not undertake any job where verbal or physical abuse is shown to members of staff.
